Staffing
The
Living Center’s staff is composed of dedicated professionals
who understand the needs of the elderly and work to provide a caring
and compassionate atmosphere. The nursing staff is composed of Registered
Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Certified Nursing Assistants
(CNA). Nurse Managers hold special certifications in gerontology. The
President/CEO and Assistant Executive Director are Licensed Nursing Home
Administrators, while four members of the Administration and Medical
Staff
are
Certified Assisted Living Administrators. Certified Social Workers provide
counseling to residents and families. The Recreation Department
staff are college graduates or have special certification in their field.
The Dietary Department includes a Registered Dietician and specially
trained Food Service Managers. Seashore Gardens Living Center was recently
recognized by the Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter for
hosting an
Alzheimer’s
Professionals Training Seminar which provides staff members with additional
knowledge
and skills to assist in providing specialized care to residents with
Alzheimer’s. Seashore Gardens Living Center’s Comfort Care Alzheimer’s Residence
is a Certified Special Care Unit by the State of NJ.
