Labov Bernstein Seashore Gardens Living Center
Community Service Award

The Labov Bernstein Seashore Gardens Living Center Community Service Award is presented to an individual(s) who has/have demonstrated outstanding voluntary commitment to the Seashore Gardens Living Center community. Assemblyman Frank Blee was the recipient of the 2006 award for his work supporting legislation to benefit seniors, and for serving as an advocate for full funding of programs for seniors with a focus on nursing home and long-term care. The award was established in 2001 and named for Howard Bernstein and Shirley Labov-Bernstein, past presidents and trustees of Seashore Gardens Living Center whose volunteer involvement with the Living Center spans over 30 years.
